Terms of Service

These terms apply when you create an academy on TutorEngine or use any part of the platform.

What TutorEngine provides

TutorEngine is software. We give you the tools to publish an academy website, run live and recorded classes, manage students, and take payments. We do not teach, and we do not take responsibility for what an academy teaches or how it teaches it.

Your academy is yours

You decide what you teach, what you charge, and who you admit. You are responsible for the content you publish and for the promises you make to your students, including your own academy's refund and privacy terms.

Your account

Accounts are identified by mobile number. You are responsible for what happens through your account and through the accounts of staff you invite. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

Payments from your students

Student payments go to your own payment gateway account. TutorEngine is not a party to that transaction and does not hold your students' money. Your agreement with your gateway provider governs those payments, and disputes or chargebacks from students are between you, your student, and your provider.

Your subscription

Subscriptions are billed monthly in Bangladeshi Taka. Prices are shown on our pricing page before you subscribe. You may cancel at any time; cancelling stops the next charge and does not refund the period already paid for, except as set out in our Refund Policy.

If a payment fails we will tell you and give you a period to fix it. If it remains unpaid we may suspend your academy. We will not delete your content during that period.

Your content

Content you upload stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and serve it for the sole purpose of running your academy. You confirm that you have the right to use the material you upload, including any material made by teachers who work with you.

Acceptable use

Do not use TutorEngine to publish unlawful material, to infringe someone else's copyright, or to attempt to gain access to another academy's data. We may suspend an academy that does. Where we do, we will explain why.

Availability

We work to keep the platform running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. Planned maintenance will be announced where we can.

Ending your account

You may close your academy at any time and export your content. We may end an account that breaks these terms, or where required by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date below shows when they last changed, and material changes will be announced to academy owners.
