Setting up payments
Connecting your own payment account so students can pay online.
Which one to connect
Students' payments go into your own merchant account. So first open a merchant account with bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz, aamarPay or shurjoPay, and keep the details they give you close by.
Connect it
- Open Payment & SMS gateways and press Add payment gateway
- Under Provider, choose bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz, aamarPay or shurjoPay
- Enter your merchant details, such as Store ID and Store password. For Nagad, paste both keys in full, exactly as Nagad sent them.
- Set Mode to Live. Sandbox is only for testing and takes no real money.
- Press Send OTP. Enter the code sent to your phone and press Verify & add.
Your details are encrypted as soon as they're saved and are never shown again.
How to tell it worked: The gateway shows in the list. Students who enrol from a course page are now taken to pay.
